Questions 83 and 105:
O.K. Question 111 WAS A CHALLENGE!! Because H2SO3 is DIPROTIC it happens in two steps and you need to know the Ka of both steps. When I solved the first step, I found that I could not assume a small change in [H3O+] and had to use the quadratic equation to solve for x. I found out later I could have used my handy-dandy calculator! Oh Well.
For this section, I just copied the solutions manual. I will give you a table of constants (Ka) for the take home quiz... gotta get started on that now!
